Management without effective leadership can cause serious problems in an organization. Poor morale, lack of motivation, and lack of job satisfaction are signs of poor leadership. Your people don’t want to be managed—they want to be led! If you look at those organizations you most enjoyed being involved with I will bet you believed in and understood the direction of the company, were recognized for your efforts, and respected the people you worked with.

Business Intelligence is basically the process, tools, and applications to capture data about your business to help you identify trends and benchmarks. Once you establish your business metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) you can use the BI tools to see how well you are actually doing.

The fact that we are able to respond quickly and effectively is why customers call when it is imperative that things get done. Unfortunately, this is the most expensive way to work, especially in information technology.
